FARMING – Lake Henry finished blasted four home runs and needed just seven innings to push Spring Hill aside, 11-1, in the Region 15C championship game.

Shane Kampsen went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a two-run home run and four RBI, Josh Kampsen hit two home runs and had five RBI and Nathan Meyer hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning to end the game.

Cory Nietfeld finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Josh Roelike went six innings to get the win for the Lakers (17-2).

Lake Henry gets the top seed from Region 15 and will play the Bluffton/Hutchinson winner in Round 1 of the Class C Minnesota State Tournament at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25 in Delano.

Jamie Terres doubled and Shawn Schoenberg drove in the Chargers’ lone run. Spring Hill (11-10) will play Jordan at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Delano.

Spring Hill 9, Elrosa 6

FARMING – Jamie Terres went 2-for-5 with a double to lead Spring Hill past Elrosa and advance to the championship game.

Grant Schoenberg was 2-for-2 with three RBI for the Chargers.

Matt Schmitz led Elrosa with four hits, including a double, with an RBI. Kevin Kuefler went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Austin Imdieke drove in two runs for the Saints.

Elrosa (12-7) faces Loretto at 7 p.m. Saturday in Delano.
