RICHMOND — Cole Schmitz had two hits and scored twice as the Royals edged Spring Hill.

Dan Hansen had two doubles and Brent Ruegemer added two hits. Andy Bauer struck out eight batters in six innings for the win.

Eric Terres and Shawn Schoenberg each went 2-for-4 for the Chargers.
